EnvisaLink or UNO: Which Do I Need?
A quick guide to choosing the right EyezOn product for your alarm system. Both add app control and instant alerts with no contracts and no mandatory monthly fees. The right choice depends on the alarm panel you have today.
Step 1: Find your panel model
Open the metal alarm box (usually in a basement, closet or utility room). The model number is printed on the circuit board, for example PC1832 or VISTA-20P.
Step 2: Match it below
| Your situation | What you need |
|---|---|
| DSC PowerSeries: PC1555, PC1555MX, PC1575, PC5010 (832), PC5020 (864), PC1616, PC1832 or PC1864 | EnvisaLink EVL-4EZR — keep your panel and add app control |
| Honeywell / Ademco VISTA: VISTA-10P, 15P, 20P, 21iP, 128P or 250P | EnvisaLink EVL-4EZR — keep your panel and add app control |
| Older DSC PowerSeries panel that is failing, or too old for the EnvisaLink | UNO IP hybrid panel — a near drop-in replacement that works with most existing DSC keypads and modules |
| No alarm system yet | UNO IP hybrid panel — a complete smart panel for wired sensors, with optional wireless sensors and LTE backup |
Step 3: Need more zones?
- UNO5108 zone expander — adds 8 wired zones to a UNO panel or most DSC PowerSeries systems; addressable up to 128 zones.
- UNO8 zone expander — adds 8 zones plus 2 high-power programmable outputs to a UNO panel, an EVL4 in standalone mode, or a DUO in universal mode.
